Lots of nice service vehicles pamper your plane - automatically ! Like G-UKSE seen here at Luton. All of the static detail is very 'frame rate friendly'. For those of us that already have registered copies of Heathrow and Gatwick Gary is offering a nice discount and upgrading those products at the same time ! Visit his web site now ! Dave Finney should have completed the finishing touches to the new Sun route to Heraklion soon. I have found some scenery of LGIR on the Flightsim.gr web site. Although pretty simple it does give a terminal and apron to the default scenery but you have to join Flightsim.gr to get it !
This is not quite so straightforward as its only in Greek but undaunted I enlisted the help of the webmaster who registered for me. Big thanks to Stelios Diamantis. I now have this scenery downloaded and I will speak to Mark Greenough about how it can be made available without upsetting the author and copy rights etc.or learning Greek.
I have also found some printed SIDs and STARs for Heraklion and can vouch for their authenticity first hand ! If Dave doesn't have web space for these I will gladly send them out to any pilot who's interested.

I wrote last month about sitting at Meigs in the good old Cessna in FS5.1 and wondering how I was going to get to Bloomington using the trusty map from the handbook especially with the light failing. Well some pictures of real-world Meigs were uploaded to Flightsim.com. I thought they were so evocative of that place we have ALL been to. The home of flightsimming certainly as I know it. I selected this shot. I hope you too enjoy this picture.
