Heathrow approach.

Fleet News !

First FS2000 Re-paints available now !

Unless you've spent the last couple of weeks locked in combat in the Pacific Theatre and haven't been reporting for your flight assignments you will probably be well aware of the latest goings on in the repainting department. Dave Finney has been slapping it all over the place and some of it seems to have stuck in the right places !

As I was unable to gain entry into his secret domain at Exeter and couldn't get a clear photo through the gap in the hanger door I was issued a press release photo pack. James has been privvy to the private goings on and there are some nice shots on a page that's been available from a link on the Information page. So see for yourselves. Mind you, at the rate Dave Finney works by the time you read this the whole fleet will have been painted in 3 different experimental liveries !

The boss would like to state that these aircraft are just FS2K re-paints of the existing fleet so no complaints from the still strong FS98 fraternity about being left out please.

Heathrow release soon !

Our CEO and founder and Scenery genius is nearly set to release what can only be described as a 'must have' . You've probably seen some of the screenshots on Gary's Scenery Magic web site by now so there's really no point in trying to describe his latest project in words. I have been privilaged to do some beta testing and I can confidently say that Gary's imaginative scenery just gets better. He has very kindly allowed me to publish an exclusive picture here on the News page.

As good as it gets.

The static aircraft are just temporary. The final version will have a full compliment from around the world. My advice, pick a quiet download time, (it's over 7Mb) take time to read the manual, explore and enjoy, and then REGISTER your copy ! I mean just how much work has gone into this for you ! and do you really want to end that 10 hour long-haul flight by passing through a big brick wall ?

Gary's Scenery will be available for download very soon check UKScenery 2000 for details.

Jonathan was quick off the mark last month and put together Flight 994 to El Salvador for the relief effort. Using a fully laden DC-10 take off from Heathrow and 10 hours later you get that relief equiptment and stores to where it's urgently needed. Mark in the scenery department has found some scenery for you and even found some FS Traffic tracks as well ! Great team effort guys !

Yet More Scenery Added !

Mark Greenough continues to make his site well worth an extended visit. Even a dedicated web surfer can miss out on some fine scenery so why not see if other people have already found, tried and (condemned) tested that new scenery for you !

I noticed that the Philippines are his latest addition...Mmmm, Mark !(Kidd) how long will it take in the Otter ?

Dave and Dave

Just how many more DAVES are we going to have in our V.A. ? That's the big question in personnel at the moment. I just got a memo from the boss that Dave and Dave are going to help him with the assigned flights. Well I hope he knows who's who ! Perhaps we can have Dave the paint, or BIG Dave or Dave I was here first so just call me Dave. Also, perhaps this just proves that more Daves can understand the joining routine !

Maybe the statistics department can compile a table of most Daves flown, busiest Dave, most popular Dave, smothest Dave and Dave with the most errors.
